For this project we gathered second-hand beach towels that we selected for their pattern and their colors.

We drawn the short pattern that we found the most comfortable and lose to cut the towels. Then we embroided the towel and sewed some side pockets, that are actually made from second-hand washcloth.

The purpose of this project was to show that it is possible to make brand new items out of old textile (that are available in a massive of quantity). The fact is that we all have towels at home that are sleeping for years, why not using them to make shorts for the summer ? ;-)
