For this project we collected about 20 pairs of second hand Dickies pants.

The batch we got our hands on was from the USA so all the pants were very large sizes.

​

We had to do our best to resize these pants to more European sizes and we succeeded!

​

The goal of this project was to keep the utilitarian spirit of the work pant Dickies while adding a technical, outdoor touch.

 

We decided to split each leg in two at the knees and add a zip so that we could also wear them as shorts.

 

We then sewed two side pockets on both sides, one with an elastic band for more security.
