For this project we recovered about 30 fleeces from the iconic Denali model from The North Face.

 

Once these jackets were in hand, we had them embroidered in Paris. Then we added a mesh pocket on the front, and a larger zip pocket on the back.

 

Some of you may have recognized this pocket on the back, it was inspired by the old hunting jackets. It was designed to hold game when the hunt was successful.

 

But at Alibi we prefer to preserve nature, so we went to capture this mythical jacket in its natural environment: The mountains.

 

For information: Denali is the name of the highest mountain in North America, located in Alaska, formerly Mount McKinley.
